Today, with the participation of the Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a solemn ceremony was held at the “Martial Arts” sports complex of the Ashgabat Olympic Village to honor young people who achieved prize-winning places in international subject Olympiads and sports competitions, along with their mentors and coaches. The event was attended by the country’s leadership, heads and staff of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations, athletes, and students.
In his historic address, the President congratulated the youth on their achievements. Afterwards, the National Anthem of Turkmenistan was performed in honor of the winners.
According to the decree signed by the President, schoolchildren and students who achieved outstanding results at the world level, together with their mentors, were awarded cash prizes of 40, 70, and 100 thousand manats.
Furthermore, athletes and their coaches who won gold, silver, and bronze medals in various international sports competitions received cash prizes of 40 and 70 thousand manats, as well as white “Toyota Camry HEV 2.5L” cars released in 2025.
The honored youth took commemorative photos and proudly expressed their heartfelt emotions from the podium.
