A high‑level videoconference was held between ADA University of Azerbaijan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The meeting became an important event that opens new opportunities for educational diplomacy between the two countries.

The event was attended by Fariz Ismayilzade, Vice Rector of ADA University; Gulshat Yusupova, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan; Gismat Gozalov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan; and Gurbanmammet Elyasov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan.

Speakers noted that cooperation between the two higher education institutions has been successfully developing in recent years and emphasized the importance of further expanding this partnership. The sides discussed new initiatives in the fields of science, education, and academic collaboration.
It was also highlighted that the Azerbaijan–Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission plays a significant role in promoting cooperation in science and education, while joint projects and academic activities create new opportunities for the youth of both countries.
In accordance with the Memorandum signed between the institutions, the meeting proposed several areas for expanding cooperation, including:
- organizing joint scientific and practical conferences, lectures, and seminars,
- expanding faculty and student exchange programs,
- creating new platforms for experience sharing,
- strengthening cooperation in scientific publications.
It was further noted that Turkmen diplomats and students continue to successfully participate in educational programs at ADA University, and the importance of expanding this cooperation in the future was emphasized.
