The astronauts of the Crew-11 mission made an emergency landing off the coast of California aboard the Crew Dragon spacecraft. This event, broadcast live by NASA on the social media platform X, was prompted by a sudden decline in the health of one of the astronauts. According to a report by Gazeta.ru, the spacecraft was forced to splash down ahead of its original schedule.
As noted in the report, the Crew-11 spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on January 15th at approximately 3:00 AM Moscow time. This urgent and premature return was caused by health complications experienced by one of the crew members. NASA specialists have taken all necessary measures to monitor the astronaut’s condition.
Currently, command of the International Space Station has been handed over to the Russian side. Additionally, two Russian cosmonauts and one American astronaut remain on the station to continue scientific operations. No further information regarding the health status of the other crew members has been released.
