New routes and developments in the automobile transport sector of Turkmenistan

12.02.2026

Thanks to the unprecedented efforts of our esteemed President, the country’s transport infrastructure is consistently being enriched with modern equipment from the world’s leading companies. This creates broad opportunities to increase the number of routes and provide high-quality, professional service to passengers. The introduction of new vehicles ensures the safety and convenience of transport services for residents of the city of Ashgabat and the regions.

Currently, consistent work is being carried out in the industry to implement innovative methods, expand the range of services, and improve the working conditions of specialists. In order to fully satisfy the transport needs of the population in newly built modern villages and towns, new urban, suburban, and intercity bus routes are regularly being opened.

To further facilitate travel for residents of the Ahal and Balkan regions, new bus services have been established along the following routes: “Balkanabat – Ashgabat,” “Bereket – Ashgabat,” and “Gyzylarbat – Ashgabat.”

These initiatives will help our population save time on these routes and reach their destinations in more comfortable conditions. Strengthening the material and technical base of the industry not only increases work efficiency but also fundamentally transforms the working and living conditions of drivers.
