An iftar‑sadaqa was organized at the “Halk Hakydasy” memorial complex in Ashgabat, with the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and the President of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by the country’s mufti, imams from all velayats as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, respected elders, revered mothers, and numerous young people. Hajji Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that during the holy month of Oraza, especially on the eve of the blessed Night of Qadr, holding a collective iftar‑sadaqa is a virtuous deed. He added that ayats and prayers are recited and good wishes are expressed. “May the prayers of our people and the sadaqa they offer be accepted by the Almighty!” the National Leader said.
The Mufti of Turkmenistan also delivered a blessing, wishing that the sadaqa given by Hajji Arkadag and Arkadagly Hajji Serdar be accepted by the Almighty. After the blessing, various dishes were served to the participants of the iftar‑sadaqa.
