The 6th Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS-2026) was successfully held from March 24 to 28, 2026, at the International University for the Humanities and Development. Approximately 560 students participated, representing higher education institutions from our country and nine foreign nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iran, the Netherlands, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
At the international olympiad, students from our country’s universities achieved the highest results, winning 33 gold, 69 silver, and 96 bronze medals in Categories A and B (totaling 198 medals). Additionally, they secured 2 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals in the team competition (totaling 13 medals).
Following the Turkmen youth, the highest number of medals were won by representative teams from Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Greece, the UAE, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Germany, Iran, and Hungary, respectively. At the closing ceremony, the winners took commemorative photos.
