By Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Vepa Seksengeldyevich Hajiyev has been appointed as the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations (New York City, United States of America).
Previously, Vepa Hajiyev served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Swiss Confederation (Geneva), the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office at Geneva (Swiss Confederation, Geneva), and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Vatican.
