On March 21, 2026, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
The interlocutors warmly greeted each other and extended their heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan (Oraza Bayram) and the Nowruz holiday, which is an integral part of the rich cultural heritage of both nations.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed Pakistan’s readiness to make every effort to further develop trade and economic relations and invited Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to visit Pakistan at any convenient time.
The Head of State expressed his gratitude for the invitation and reaffirmed his readiness to fully support initiatives and efforts aimed at further developing and enriching bilateral relations with new content. The telephone conversation was held at the initiative of the Pakistani side.
