The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium, Sapar Palvanov, met with the Permanent Representative of the Hellenic Republic to the European Union, Ioannis Vrailas. During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and future prospects of Turkmen-Greek relations. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium reported the meeting on Monday.
The parties noted the positive dynamics of trade turnover and consistent developments at the political level, emphasizing that the bilateral dialogue has recently become more stable and substantive.
Special attention was paid to cooperation within the European Union – Turkmenistan framework. The participants highlighted the importance of intensifying partnership, further strengthening the legal framework, and the progressive institutionalization of relations between Turkmenistan and the EU.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in expanding areas of cooperation and elevating the partnership to a higher quality level that serves the interests of both nations.
