Turkmenistan will participate in the “Kazan Halal Market” exhibition, which will be organized as part of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia — Islamic World: Kazan Forum” to be held from May 12–17 in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation. The “Tatar-inform” agency reported this on Monday, citing Taliya Minullina, the head of the Investment Development Agency of Tatarstan.
“Kazan Halal Market” is an international trade fair featuring food products, beauty products, clothing, accessories, and household goods. The report notes that all participants’ products must have a mandatory halal certificate to be exhibited.
Last year, more than 150 companies from Russia, as well as manufacturers from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and Senegal, participated in the exhibition.
Turkmenistan, Russia, and Afghanistan plan to sign a trilateral agreement on the creation of a new transit corridor within the framework of the “Russia — Islamic World: Kazan Forum” international forum.
