Recently, within the framework of the “Central Asia – India” dialogue, a study visit was organized for a youth delegation from Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, to the Republic of India.
During the trip, the Turkmen youth visited the cities of Mumbai, Goa, and New Delhi, where they met with Indian government officials and heads of leading scientific institutions and cultural centers. Delegation members learned about the development of modern science and “blue economy” initiatives by visiting the Indian Institute of Technology and the Stock Exchange in Mumbai, as well as the National Institute of Oceanography in Goa.
As part of the cultural program, visits were made to historical and modern sites such as Humayun’s Tomb, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum, and the Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari film studio. During meetings in New Delhi with leaders of the Ministries of Youth Affairs, Sports, and Foreign Affairs of India, an exchange of experience in the implementation of youth programs took place.
This visit marked a significant step in strengthening youth diplomacy and scientific-cultural cooperation between India and the countries of Central Asia.
