British Companies to Visit Turkmenistan on Business Mission

18.05.2026

The West London Chambers of Commerce plans to organize a reciprocal business mission of British companies to Turkmenistan, Chairman Christopher Durkin said during a meeting with Turkmen entrepreneurs in London on Thursday.

According to Durkin, the visit by British businesses to Turkmenistan will build on commercial ties established in London and mark a new stage in bilateral cooperation, organizers said.

As part of the program, Stephen Conlon addressed participants. During the presentation, the diplomat outlined the United Kingdom’s current approach to developing trade and economic relations with Turkmenistan and introduced opportunities offered by UK Export Finance, the U.K.’s export credit agency that provides financial support instruments to companies working with British partners.

The UK–Turkmenistan B2B Trade Mission was jointly organized by the West London Chambers of Commerce and TurkmenExpo with institutional support from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United Kingdom.
