On May 14-15, 2026, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania participated in the POLI International Fest 2026, second edition, held at the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest. This was reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania.
The festival included plenary sessions, meetings with representatives of foreign universities, cultural presentations, and thematic exhibitions. Representatives of the diplomatic corps, academia, international organizations, and the business and cultural communities participated.
At the event, the Embassy of Turkmenistan presented an exhibition dedicated to the culture of Turkmenistan, along with exhibits from other embassies and international organizations accredited in Romania. The exhibition showcased materials reflecting Turkmenistan’s cultural heritage, traditions, and modern achievements, including colorful photographs and paintings about Turkmenistan, hand-woven carpets, national costumes, national musical instruments, handicrafts and embroideries, and publications of the Esteemed Arkadag, National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The festival discussed issues of international academic cooperation, youth exchanges, innovation and digital technologies.
Participation in this event contributed to the further strengthening of international humanitarian and educational ties, as well as the promotion of Turkmenistan’s cultural and scientific potential on the international stage.
