The “Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052”, approved by our Honorable President, along with the 2026 Action Plan for its implementation, has opened a new chapter in the development of our country’s higher education institutions. Aimed at aligning the national education system with international standards, training competitive young specialists, and modernizing the scientific and educational environment, the implementation of this large-scale document began at the International University for the Humanities and Development in 2026 through extensive organizational efforts and creative labor.
Since the beginning of the year, the work carried out at our university has fully aligned with the core objectives of this Strategy, focusing on elevating the quality of education to new heights. In accordance with the requirements set out in the Strategy, the university’s faculty members have prepared new digital information materials and advanced educational and methodological complexes for academic disciplines. The integration of digital platforms in teaching, the expansion of the e-learning infrastructure, and the practice of conducting classes through innovative methodologies have been fully refined.
In 2026, decisive steps were taken to strengthen partnerships with the world’s leading scientific and educational centers and international organizations. Our university actively intensified its international engagement with world-class educational and scientific institutions. Furthermore, consistent efforts were dedicated to advancing the university’s standing in global rankings.
The successful, high-level organization of the VI Open Mathematical Olympiad among University Students (OMOUS-2026), hosted at our university in March 2026, serves as clear evidence of our increasingly robust international scientific cooperation. Additionally, the educational and research activities conducted within the framework of the AELLCA (Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia) project played a vital role in challenging and refining the English language proficiencies and international diplomacy skills of our youth.
Moreover, to preserve national and moral values, extensive awareness-raising and methodological initiatives were widely organized across the university’s faculties. Scientific conferences celebrating the rich literary heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy, the history of Akhal-Teke horses, and our national arts deeply enriched the cultural and ethical worldview of the students.
As demonstrated, the faculty and student body of the International University for the Humanities and Development are working creatively toward the successful realization of the “Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026-2052”, making a worthy contribution to shaping educated, patriotic young generations during the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State.
