A delegation led by the Authorized Representative for Human Rights in Turkmenistan (Ombudsman) took part in the closing ceremony of the 9th World Congress against the death penalty, held at the National Assembly of France.
According to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the French Republic, during the event the Ombudsman of Turkmenistan held a brief conversation with the President of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI).
