On August 3, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Atajan Movlamov, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic, Ugo Charlatani. This was reported on the official website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Atajan Movlamov warmly congratulated his Italian colleague on his appointment to the new post and wished him great success in his diplomatic activities. During the talks, the ambassadors exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Turkmen-Italian relations, confirming their readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Furthermore, the parties discussed the activities of the diplomatic corps in Islamabad, including issues of interaction between diplomatic missions and cooperation with Pakistan’s government agencies and business communities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the ambassadors expressed their commitment to continuing regular dialogue and emphasized their readiness to further deepen the friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Italy.
