Some buyers who used the demonstration versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 noticed that the screen does not open completely – there is a thin gap between the panels, the smartphone does not become completely even. The image of such a device was published on Reddit, also buyers (so far in the USA) say they are faced with the same problem in the retail store.
Observers explain that they are quite rude with demonstration devices in stores, but given that the phone entered the store shelves only last week, the breakdown should not happen so quickly. And this must be taken into account, not consumer, but the demonstration version is not completely disclosed.
At the same time, Samsung officially claims that for the phones of the Galaxy Z series with the Flex Hinge hinge, it is normal to remain open in the range from 178.5 to 181.5 degrees. In previous discussions on Reddit, it was said that if the phone is not disclosed in this range, it is subject to replacement under warranty.
