The players of the “Arkadag” team won their third trophy during the season. The famous team from Arkadag city added the championship of the country’s Higher League, the Naybashi Cup, to the Cup of Turkmenistan. In the final match, the “Arkadag” team won 2:1.
The winning team’s goals were scored by Shamammet Khydyrov in the 67th and 77th minutes of the game. Yakupmuhammet Govshudov from the “Akhal” team (24th minute) distinguished himself. Thus, the “Arkadag” team, established in early 2023, won the Cup competition for the third year in a row. If necessary, it is worth noting that these teams met in the Cup competition finals in the last two seasons.
After the final match, an award ceremony was held for the participants of the Cup competition. Also, medals were awarded to the “Arkadag” team, which finished first in the national football championship.
